Charlie is the heart behind our dog care in Monterey!

After a 22-year career in law enforcement and a decade with the Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe, Charlie brought his lifelong love of animals to the Central Coast.

Now retired, he devotes his time to caring for dogs with warmth, patience, and purpose, whether it’s beach romps, scenic town strolls, or cozy overnight stays.

With over 10 years of hands-on experience fostering and rescuing dogs, including seniors, shy pups, and those needing a little extra TLC, Charlie is known not just for keeping pets safe and loved, but for enhancing their training and routines. From leash manners to positive reinforcement, he believes in returning an even better pup to their humans after each sit.

He’s walked dogs at rescue centers, cared for pets of friends and family for decades, and is happiest surrounded by wagging tails and salty air.
